MindNode (touch)

Available On The AppStoreMindNode (touch) is a very easy and intuitive application for collecting, organizing and
outlining your thoughts and ideas as mind maps.

Mind maps can be used for many different tasks (e.g. to-do lists, brainstorming, holiday planning, research, writing, project management…)
and in many different environments (e.g. school, meetings, working place…).

MindNode (touch) makes creating mind maps on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch extremely easy. You create new nodes directly on the canvas by dragging them out of the node well which appears as a plus sign next to a selected node.

FAQs

Does MindNode (touch) work on the iPad?
All versions starting with release 2.2.1 are universal binaries. This means MindNode (touch) will work as a native application on the iPad, iPhone and iPad touch. You don’t need to purchase a new application for your iPad.

What export formats do you support?
MindNode (touch) document, FreeMind document, PNG image, OPML outline and text outline.

Do I need the Pro version of MindNode to transfer documents to the iPhone?
Yes, you need MindNode Pro version 1.4.

Is the free version of MindNode able to import MindNode (touch) documents?
Yes. Simply email the MindNode document to your Mac and open it in MindNode. As MindNode doesn’t support node width constraining you might need to update the layout of the imported mind map.

Does the iPhone version support syncing with the desktop?
At the moment I only support import and export. This means text attributes (including links), images and cross connections will be lost when importing a mind map onto the iPhone. This is due to some restrictions of the platform and I’m planning to improve this in the future.
