MindNode (touch) 1.0.1
Apple approved MindNode (touch) 1.0.1 and it’s now available in the AppStore. This is a minor update that fixes a crash when importing mind node documents via email and improves WiFi sharing.
I’m currently working on a second minor update that will fix issues when exporting documents via email.

When will we see connections added to the app?

Readonly definitely, but I can’t promise on creating them on the iPhone atm. Getting this “right” will be pretty hard and I will only add it if I find a good and intuitive way to create them.

Just a suggestion… how about a connection well to the left of the node just like the node well on the right? Then the next node you touch offers a connection option as well. Great work, by the way.

@Kent:
Thank you for your comment. This doesn’t look good and adds too much noise to the canvas. In fact I had a second node well on the left side of main nodes in a beta version and testers hated it.

Is it possible for the right node well to offer 2 or more options. Click and drag to second node makes connection. Click and release or click and drag to empty canvas makes new node.

I’ve been thinking about this too. It would work, but it has some disadvantages because I already create a node when touching the canvas.

Hey Markus great job on the app! I was wondering what you were working on for the next update? The biggest thing I’m looking forward to is some more color variety. I love MindNode, it helps me plot information down quick in a very beautiful style and get the work done, thanks!

I’m currently working on 1.1. It will contain several bug fixes and the following new features:
- Drag and drop reconnecting
- Autoscrolling
- Web-based FreeMind and OPML import/export (this will allow Windows/Linux users to import data)
I’m also implementing a color picker at the moment, but I don’t think this will be part of 1.1
