MindNode 1.3
Change Log
Major improvements to zooming
MindNode now supports zooming to any factor between 10% – 400%, allows zooming with multi-touch trackpads and mouse wheel ([CMD]+[Mouse Wheel up/down] and supports Fit Mind Map and Fit Selection. Furthermore the zoom factor button next to the horizontal scroll received a major facelift and now looks and behaves similarly to pop-up-buttons used in the iWork suite.
Multi-touch support
Additional to the two-finger scrolling, MindNode now supports pitch to zoom and three-finger-swipe to change the selection on all new multi-touch trackpads.
Other Improvements and Fixes:
- New MindNode icon.
- German localization.
- Print settings are correctly saved with each document.
- Improved handling of canvas resizing. It decreases automatically when folding and moving nodes. The canvas no longer has a visible border.
- When editing a left aligned node, the canvas no longer moves around.
- Changes default main node thickness to 2 pt instead of 3 pt.
- Root nodes are now called main nodes.
- Fixes a drawing bug when adding a new line character at the end of a node.
- Correct handling of paper sizes.
- When editing a title the application no longer draws a white background.
- Improved behavior when entering the edit mode. The application now inserts the insertion marker at the point of the click and no longer selects the entire node.
- The color of the selection rubber band changed.
- Main nodes are ordered by their canvas location when exporting to RTF, HTML, FreeMind and OPML.
- It’s no longer possible to create a main node when double clicking the canvas.
- Fixes a crash when trying to print an empty document.

Hello.
I don’t want to promise future features publicly, but this feature is very high on my todo list and I’m planning to bring it to my application later this year.
Cheers!

It would be nice to add text notes.
This is a big missing.
Or I miss to read the manual?

Dear Andrea.
Thank you for your comment. I have to answer with a similar answer as above. I’m aware that this is a major missing feature and it’s very high on my todo list. If you want to receive a short email when I release this feature, please contact me at support@mindnode.com
Cheers!

My translator software says that 1 above is about inserting pictures – I second that, ditto with the notes comment. But, I will also say, that I do love the simplicity of MindNode Pro and intuitive way it works. I can think about the subject and not about which button to push.
Thanks!!
