The last version of MindNode got downloaded 3600+ times and the amount of feedback has been overwhelming. Many changes in this release are requests from users and I’d like to thank everybody who contacted me. Due to this high amount of requests, I wasn’t able to declare this release RC 1. It will follow sometime this week.

Core Version

• (New) Export mind map as OPML file (You can import this file into outlining applications like OmniOutliner).
• (New) Paste and Match Style support when pasting nodes (font, font attributes, stroke width, stroke color, stroke style).
• (Update) Center root node is cleverer about what node to center. It also selects the centered node.
• (Update) Changes to the way spotlight meta data is handled.
• (Fix) The toolbar per default displays toolbar item titles.
• (Fix) The toolbar item to delete nodes is disabled when editing a node title or if there is no active selection.
• (Fix) Menu items in the Nodes-menu are disabled when editing a node title.
• (Fix) Stroke width is applied correctly during pasting.
• (Fix) Supernodes are selected after deleting nodes.

This release took a lot longer than expected. I spent a lot if time rewriting the way mirrored nodes are drawn when editing the title, but in the end I had to revert back to the original code due to problems with the applications architecture. On the bright side, this release fixes a bug that was on my todo list for what must have been ages. When editing a node title the text sometimes jumped around. This issue should be fixed in this release.

Please note that this is the last 0.9.x release. The next release will be 1.0 RC 1.

I just released InfiniteCanvas 1.3.3. This is a minor release that improves compatibility with Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard).
