Bugfixing

July 18, 2005 at 10:40 pm

I started working on a small update for 1.3. The following things will be fixed/updated:

Editor
- show navigation in canvas display mode
- change default transition speed
- display an error dialog when an error occurs during publishing

Viewer
- fix a problem with flickering when using easing

I would like to thank Ivan Dembicki and Alex Uhlmann for helping me fix the flickering issue!

I just uploaded InfiniteCanvas Version 1.3. This is the first version using the new Flash Viewer. I hope you like it. Please don’t forget to let me know what you think of my app and what you would like to see (changed) in future releases.

It’s time to celebrate

On the 7th of July, 2004, I released the first version of InfiniteCanvas. It was a rough ride with many ups and downs. I’m very proud of the comics which were created. They are fantastic! Thank you for creating them!

But now to something different. Version 1.1 has been downloaded over 1000 times. Wow this is a huge number. But this brings up one simple question: Why did only three people release comics laid out with my application?

Let’s hope this will change with the upcoming Version 1.2. I wanted to release it earlier this week, but there is still one stupid bug: when using easing the animation flickers at the end. I’m not sure what is causing this but I’ll release it as soon as possible.
